Benefits: In Abaqus/CAE you can now easily request field output on the exterior nodes and elements of a model, which reduces the size of the output database and is particularly useful for visualization of the overall deformation of the model.
Description: For three-dimensional models in Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Explicit analyses, you can request field output on the exterior nodes and elements, as shown in Figure 14–1.
