7.3 Using anti-aliasing

Abaqus/CAE uses anti-aliasing to improve the display of curved and diagonal lines on models. Anti-aliasing is enabled on compliant systems, and you can toggle off this option to improve performance for some systems.

To enable or disable anti-aliasing of lines:

  1. Locate the graphics options.

From the main menu bar, select ViewGraphics Options.

Abaqus/CAE displays the Graphics Options dialog box.

  2. From the Hardware options, toggle on Anti-alias lines to enable anti-aliasing or toggle it off to disable anti-aliasing.

  3. Click OK to implement your changes and to close the dialog box.

Your changes are saved for the duration of the session.
