Description: The SST k– turbulence model is a two-equation model. The model can be applied throughout the viscous sublayer without further modification, in contrast to the alternative k– model. The SST form of the k– model includes the additional benefits of reduced sensitivity to freestream turbulence values and a limiter to prevent excessive shear stress levels in boundary layers.
