Description: Similar to the explicit approach used in Abaqus/CFD, the mesh motion is governed by the linear elasticity equations. The algorithm is similar to the static stress analysis procedure in Abaqus/Standard. To avoid extra memory allocation for solving the linear elasticity equations, the matrix-free iteration strategy is used. The implicit approach is very useful in problems where large deformation might occur due to the mesh motion.
