Description: The part repair options in the Geometry Repair toolset now include the following enhancements:
Stitch
The stitching option now enables you to select individual edges that you want to join together along their free edges. Stitching was previously a global operation that repaired edges on the entire part. You can select the edges individually from the viewport or by angle.
In addition, you can specify a tolerance value for any stitching operation. Abaqus/CAE stitches two free edges together if the gap between them is smaller than the specified tolerance.
Convert to precise
When you convert a part to precise geometry, you can now tighten gaps in the geometry instead of recomputing the entire geometry of the part. This enhancement enables you to fix minor gaps in imported geometry more quickly.
