Benefits: Abaqus/CAE now provides better performance for feature regeneration and reduces the amount of memory allocated to the undisplayed parts in your session. These enhancements enable you to work on larger and more complex geometry in Abaqus/CAE without taxing the memory resources of your system.
Description: The geometry-related memory caches now provide better handling of time-consuming features, which provides faster regeneration of features. You can also control the total amount of memory allocated to the Abaqus kernel and control the percentage of that amount that should be made available before Abaqus/CAE runs in reduced memory mode. These settings, which are shown in Figure 4–5, enable you to work more efficiently by avoiding problems with memory resources.
