Benefits: The option for creating a solid part from a three-dimensional shell has been moved from the Geometry Repair toolset to the Shape menu in the Part module. In addition, the options that enable you to customize memory cache settings for your session have been moved from the Feature Manipulation toolset to the Options toolset. These changes provide a more logical organization for solid creation functions and memory settings in Abaqus/CAE.
Description: The Solid from shell option that enables you to create a solid part from a three-dimensional shell now resides with the solid feature creation options in the Part module. The Geometry Caching for Faster Regeneration options, which enable you to control the number of geometric states that Abaqus/CAE saves to memory and to clear these caches, now resides on the Memory tabbed page of the Options dialog box.
