Benefits: The performance of coupled structural-acoustic mode-based steady-state dynamic analyses has been significantly improved.
Description: When you perform coupled structural-acoustic mode-based steady-state dynamic analysis, the analysis time is reduced by a factor of about two. A new algorithm for solving the projected system of equations significantly reduces the time of the steady-state dynamic analysis. This improvement does not affect the accuracy of the results. Table 6–3 illustrates the performance improvement; both analyses were run on a Red Hat Linux machine with a 3.0 GHz Xeon processor.
