Description: Contact output in Abaqus/Standard has been enhanced to provide contact status output at every node on both master and slave surfaces. Contact status output identifies whether the contact status at a node is open or whether the status is sticking or slipping when closed. Figure 11–3 shows the contact status contours made available by requesting the output variable CSTATUS. The contact status variable output applies to the output database (.odb) file and not to the data (.dat) or results (.fil) files.
